Podiatry assessment process

During an assessment, our Podiatrist will take your medical history and ask about any medication you are on. We will then visually assess the foot before a hands on assessment. During this time you will be asked a variety of questions about your work and exercise. Various joints will be manipulated to focus down on a particular area which may not be where the problem stems from. Throughout this time the Chiropodist will be listening to you for any information which is always very helpful so do not hold back, even if you feel it is irrelevant it may not be.

The Chiropodist, Podiatrist will then explain the findings and offer a treatment plan. In many cases the treatment can be undertaken there and then and you can leave pain free but sometimes it could take further treatments.
